Eye Guardian transforms the way glaucoma is managed through our advanced, non-contact technology. Our smart glasses use an eye- safe light source and built-in camera to capture speckle patterns. The eye glasses then send one gentle sound pulse which creates micro-vibrations on the surface of the eye. The small ripples on the eye are captured in less than 1 second with over 12,000 new speckle pattern images. AI then calculates and interprets those change speckle patterns to calculate the intraocular eye pressure (IOP). The eye glasses are connected to the patient’s smartphone and Eye Guardian App that will notify the patient and their doctor if the eye pressure is outside of the normal and safe range. The device will send reminders to the patient to take their eye drops. Notifications can also be sent to family members or care-givers as well. The device will track medication adherance. As patients develop tolerances to certain medications this will quickly be determined and the patient’s doctor can change medications accordingly to ensure the patient is maintaining eye pressure in a safe and healthy range.
